I miss drawing and painting.
I don’t know what to do with this blog anymore. I’ve started a new blog on another site but I have great followers here. I don’t want to leave them though I know they wouldn’t even notice that I left. Hahaha. So much drama for such a petty thing, some would say. But blogging is like a form of freedom, you know?!
You’re free to express whatever you want, free to reblog whatever you like, and I love that freedom (so petty, I know). I was going to ramble about freedom of expression but I forgot all about it. I got distracted by…well, I wasn’t distracted at all. I chose to stop my train of thought in order to address a friend’s cry.

This sticker’s got it right. I love it when jeepney drivers put stickers like this on their rear view mirror or dashboard.
Chuck Close - Fingerpainting (1985) - oil on canvas
“This giant portrait depicts the artists’s wife’s late grandmother, Fanny, and was executed using a technique developed by Close himself which involves the direct application of pigment to a surface with his fingerprints. By adjusting the amount of pigment used and the pressure applied on the canvas with his fingers, Chuck Close managed to capture every crack and crevice of the subject’s face, just like a high-definition silver-toned photograph.”

Mêlée - Built to Last
Makes me feel like a hopeless romantic every time I hear it.
It’s unbelievable that this band is unknown! They make lovely music. Listen to their other songs. :)
